My husband and I had to take a quick trip up to Wisconsin from Kansas City area. On way back, my husband wanted to find place on Rock River, as he remembered Hwy 2 being scenic from his youth growing up in Chicago area. I Googled and found the Paddle Wheel Inn. What a find! Room with balcony overlooking the river and all the glorious autumn colors. Our room was very clean and spacious. The staff helpful and professional. And the price! Have payed much more for much less. A walk across parking lot and had a delightful dinner at Blackhawk Steak Pit.
